1 JOHN 1:8-9

Updated: Jul 24, 2021

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our

sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

We have all sinned including myself. There was a season in my life or seasons that I was living in constant sin. I had children out of wedlock., premarital sex, drinking, partying, gossiping, cussing basically just living my best at least I thought I was.

Even though I was a Christian and attending church on a regular basis I was still sinning and not living a godly life. There is a difference and you cannot have both it’s almost like living a double life. I was living for God but hanging out with the devil himself. After a few years I started getting a closer relationship with God I started to slowly turn my life, situation and bad habits around for the better.

I was more intentional and taking life and my Christian walk and relationship with God a little more serious. I asked for forgiveness from God for my behavior and my sinful nature. I forgave myself, and I started to turn my life around. You can do the exact same thing it’s just that simple. Do not let people or churches condemn you of your sin. Make it right with God, read and study your bible be intentional and consistent about your efforts and watch God change your life.

Sincerely,

Tamara Denise
