5 Quick Ways to Spend time with God when your schedule is hectic

If we are honest some of us would love to spend more time than usual with God if our schedule permitted. I mentioned if we are honest, between life, kids, spouse, work, health, overall physical well being and community events sometimes God is an option not a priority and that is not Ok.

There are numerous ways that you can spend time with God regardless of your schedule and there is no perfect way or a set amount of time that you have to spend with him daily. God just wants you to seek him first and spend time with him. The preferred time is usually first thing in the AM, however some people's lifestyle does not allow them to seek God first thing in the morning as soon as they wake up.

You can spend time with God in the evening, on your lunch break, in the shower only to name a few. I have listed Five quick ways for you to spend time with God daily even if your schedule is very limited. Spending time with God is just that, you do not have to explain to anyone your time frame that you spent with God or your exact location. It doesn't matter because God wants you and your heart, rather it’s at 5:00 in the morning or 10:00 at night. God is not concerned about the trivial petty things like the world when it comes to how and when you should acknowledge him.

I have listed a few suggestions for you to spend time with God even when your schedule is limited. There is absolutely no excuse why you can’t spend time with God. Ask God to give you windows of time to spend with him, maybe a better schedule, help with the kids and more free time.

1. Listen to a Bible App.

There are a few Bible Apps that you can listen to 24 hours, 7 days a week while you are cooking meals for you and your family, getting ready for the day, working, waiting at your appointment, driving in your car.

2. Listen to a Sermon/Podcast

If you have a Leader that you prefer, he is more than likely on a social media platform that you can listen to or watch on TV or your electronic device.

3. Listening to Praise and Worship

Praising and worshiping God through song and music is a game changer. Getting into the presence of God by listening to your favorite Gospel or Christian Artist is priceless and personal.

4 .Pray

One of my favorite things to do is Pray there is no set time, minute, schedule, hour or location that you have to pray. You can pray anywhere anytime and as many times as you want whenever you want. Perfect, right!

5. Prayer Walk

Spending time with God in Nature is so peaceful, go for a walk and just talk to God and Pray and be still and quiet your mind.

If you really did read these five tips you will see that none of my suggestions require you to physically pick up a piece of literature, by no means is this an excuse for you not to read your Bible you should always read your Bible. Your bible is your guidance to help get you through life, and to get to know God better.

There are some people with a really Busy Lifestyle that are genuinely struggling to spend time with God, they have a desire to spend time with God except they don’t know how this is for you. Do not try to make God around your schedule, make your schedule around God he is a priority. Acknowledge God and spend time with him. He loves you and wants a relationship with you.
