UNHEALTHY EMOTIONS

Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken
There was a point and time in my life when my emotions were all over the place literally. Happy, sad, angry, defensive, crying, stubborn, bad attitude, only to name a few. Over the years I have grown tremendously due to my relationship with God. It has been a process and a lot of hard work that I had to accomplish by working on myself and doing the inner work within myself.
I had to come to the realization that your words have power watch your mouth and your conversation. Your tongue is like a poisonous snake that is very dangerous and deadly. The one thing about your words is that once you say it you can’t take it back, yes you can apologize and even do a nice gesture to make up for it but, you said it and words hurt they cut deeply verbal abuse is just as bad or worse than physical abuse. When you believe lies and the words that people may say to you after awhile you start to believe it and before you know it you are in bondage. (Romans 8:8)
Don’t let your emotions control your feelings. Just because you feel something does not mean it’s true and does not mean that you have to say it. Your emotions can keep you out of the will of God, instead of letting your emotions get the best of you Pray when you feel bad or listen to some worship music. Don’t just listen or read the word Of God make sure that you also apply it daily to your everyday life.
2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
Sincerely,
